Membership Benefits:
By joining the Silicon Valley Aquarium Society, you are helping to keep the club running smoothly by bringing in speakers every month, buying auction items, raffle items, meeting supplies and much more! In return, members get discounts at many bay area stores, they are allowed to sell items in the auction for a split (non-members may only donate auction items), they get to vote at elections, and they can carry a tab at the auction. Do you need to be a member to attend a meeting or buy items at the auction? No! New people are always welcome, you can always join later if you decide the SVAS is fun for you.

Cost of Membership:
Single: $12.00 a year
Family: $18.00 a year

SVAS membership goes from June to June, with pro-rated membership rates for new members who join throughout the year. The pro-rated membership works in the following way; a new member joining in August 2007 would pay $10.00 for a membership expiring in June 2008 (lasts 10 months), and a new member joining in May would pay $13.00 for a membership expiring in June 2009 (lasts 13 months). To join, check table below and click on the appropriate month (see membership chair at the next SVAS meeting to receive your membership card).
